Isaac Ariho Dominates September Woodball, Leads Uganda Prisons to Title Victory

Woodball star Isaac Ariho showcased remarkable form in September, leading Uganda Prisons to their third consecutive Woodball League Trophy. Ariho’s stellar performances saw him lose only one of his seven games throughout the month. He kicked off with a resounding 7-0 victory over Fred Turyakira of Prisons at their home grounds in Luzira, and finished the month with decisive wins against Simon Peter Otim of Stroke and Delick Ankunda of Ndejje at Makerere University. Ariho also excelled in doubles, pairing with Abednego Okello to defeat KIU’s Bruno Ssekidde and Timothy Suuna 5-1, and partnering with Isaac Nabugere to beat KU’s Matthias Wahala and Raphael Kanabahirwa in another dominant display. His commanding performances earned him the woodball accolade for September, surpassing strong competitors Alfred Nsabimana and Joyce Nalubega.
